Job Advert: Event Producer for REVEL Events
Position: Event Producer
Event: Mould x Pinot Palooza
Contract Duration: Full time, Hybrid (2 days WFH)
ABOUT US:
MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA is where cheese dreams meet pinot-fuelled reality. As Australia’s ultimate and cheese and wine festivals, we champion local producers, celebrate Australian dairy, Pinot in all of its form, and create warm, energetic, community-minded events that put hospitality and good vibes front and centre.
With a reputation for delivering exceptional experiences across the country, we’re looking for someone who loves both the craft and the chaos of events—someone who thrives on spreadsheets and bump-ins, logistics and hospitality, structure and spontaneity. If you have a background in events, operations or hospitality and want to be part of one of Australia’s most exciting food and wine festivals, you’ll fit right in.
THE GIG:
As our Event Producer, you’re the engine room of the tour—making sure every city is set, stocked, safe, and ready to roll. You’ll lead the operational planning, production, logistics, and on-the-ground delivery that brings MOULD x Pinot Palooza to life.
This role is hands-on and fast-moving, with no two days ever the same. One moment you’re mapping infrastructure layouts and supplier schedules; the next you’re on-site placing signage, coordinating bump-in, or troubleshooting a forklift drop-off. You’re the calm in the chaos, the person who quietly makes everything work.
You’ll play a crucial role in the build and successful delivery of our events across multiple states, ensuring each festival feels seamless, vibrant, and unmistakably MOULD x Pinot Palooza.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure the seamless delivery of event logistics and requirements.
- Assisting in pre-event preparations, including venue setup, styling, equipment coordination, print production and risk and compliance.
- Recruiting and managing temporary event staff, ensuring they are briefed and well-prepared for their roles.
- Overseeing the on-site management of temporary staff during event days to maintain a high standard of customer service and event execution.
- Venue management, freight and logistics, production management, infrastructure planning, schedules and runsheets.
- On the ground delivery of event and site builds.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience (4+ years) in event management, hospitality, operations or related fields.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple aspects of event production simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, staff, and event attendees.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to tackle challenges and make quick decisions.
- To work within a small team and independently
- Flexibility to travel interstate for event preparations and execution.
- Happy to get hands on, you know events are physical.
- Drivers license essential, forklift, first aid or RSA a bonus.
Location: While we welcome applications from candidates based across Australia, we are particularly interested in candidates based in Melbourne due to the event’s headquarters being situated in the city.
Benefits: In return for your dedication and contributions, you will have the opportunity to:
- Gain hands-on experience in event production and management.
- Network with industry professionals and build valuable connections.
- Contribute to the success of an acclaimed food and wine festival.
- Showcase your skills and creativity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
