COMPLIANCE

RSA REQUIREMENTS

QLD Peeps

All staff involved in selling, serving or supplying alcohol need to have completed an approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course and hold a valid Statement of Attainment

View an example Statement of Attainment.

INTERSTATERS and KIWI Friends

You can only use your interstate RSA qualification in Queensland if it’s a Statement of Attainment from the nationally accredited Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol course. This is the only nationally recognised qualification.

You should only need to get your RSA Statement of Attainment once. As long as you completed the nationally accredited Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol course after 2002, the qualification doesn’t expire, even though the course code (currently SITHFAB021) sometimes changes.

For further information or clarification visit: Liquor Industry Training QLD

If you’re looking for an RSA that will satisfy ALL event and city requirements, then check out CTA Training specialists Here

DEADLINE: Friday 20th September 2024

FOOD REGISTRATION FOR BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL

FOOD REGISTRATION – BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL
Market Food Stall Permit
You will need to submit a Market Food Stall Permit with the Brisbane City Council. Which you can do so HERE.

You can apply for either of the 2:
  • annual licence: if you want to operate a food stall regularly, this option can be convenient and cost-effective. An annual licence requires only one application and fee to operate your stall multiple times in that year. You will need to list the individual markets or events that you wish to operate at. The annual licence is renewable. Council issues renewal notices 60 days before expiry.
  • one-off, single-event licence: if you want to operate a food stall only occasionally or at a specific event. This allows you to operate a stall on one occasion only, for up to four consecutive days or up to 12 consecutive days. You cannot renew one-off licences, you will need to apply for a licence each time you operate.

Please note for this event anyone handling foods samples will fall under the “High Risk” Category.

You’ll find the layout of the your stall HERE which you may need for the application.

Information on Temporary Food Premises from Brisbane City Council can be found HERE

FLOOR PLAN

LAY OF THE LAND

Floor Plan set up is at our discretion and your location may vary from city to city.
The layout is subject to change and is to be used only as a guide.

We group wineries by region to encourage attendees to explore a region in full.

We prefer to integrate drinks, cheese, accompaniments and side hustles in amongst the wineries to further encourage exploration of styles of produce.

This model has proven successful. But remember, as we cap the number of attendees per session there is literally no where to hide and our audience will find you. There is no doubt of that!
